On September 7th at 4 pm, please join us at the Opening Ceremony and Ribbon-Cutting event in Estey Hall Auditorium, marking the move of the U.S. Commercial Service office to the campus of Shaw University. The U.S. Commercial Service, part of the U.S. Department of Commerce’s International Trade Administration, is dedicated to helping American businesses, large and small, succeed internationally through exports.
This partnership will allow for enhanced collaboration between the U.S. Commercial Service, Shaw, and the North Carolina District Export Council to identify small and medium-sized enterprises from underrepresented communities in order to provide services and export assistance to businesses looking to expand their sales into international markets.
Dr. Dillard will be joined by Kendee Yamaguchi, Deputy Assistant Secretary of Commerce for the U.S. Field, in addition to other state and local dignitaries and representatives. Immediately after the ceremony, the NC District Export Council is sponsoring a reception to celebrate the opening of the Raleigh Office at Shaw University.
