Join us as we recognize students for their academic achievements, honor society memberships, and scholarship recipients.

Mr. Weeks is 2014 graduate from Shaw University. He is one of the youngest judicial officials in the country and has made a positive impact in the community. He is a role model for young men, with a passion for helping others and making a difference.

This is a mandatory CASES event for freshmen and CASES attire is required. Students should be dressed in professional business attire, athletes (upperclassmen) may wear team uniform attire.

This is one of the University functions in which full-time faculty are required to attend in support of our students, but do not need to be in academic regalia. Classes will be suspended at 10:30 am and will resume at 2:00 pm.

RALEIGH, N.C. – Beginning in October 2023, Shaw University will expand its campus and Triangle presence to Research Triangle Park; the result of a new collaboration between ShawU and the Research Triangle Foundation of North Carolina.
The purpose of this qualitative research case design study will be to understand the factors affecting persistence among first-generation, 18-32-year-old Black male students who attended a community college in North Carolina no earlier than May 2021 and are now attending Shaw University.
SEABOARD, N.C. – Shaw University graduate and former Shaw University Divinity School Dean, Dr. Nicholas F. Roberts, will be honored by the dedication and placement of a historical marker at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 16 on the lawn of the Town Hall at 102 West
