George York Announced as 2023 Day of Giving Corporate Captain for a 2nd Time this Year!

Dear Friends,

Thursday, May 25th is the 4th annual Shaw University Day of Giving. I am delighted to again be serving as the Corporate Captain on behalf of Shaw University’s 2023 Day of Giving efforts. Last year, we generated over $1 Million in total raised funds for Giving Day. Click here to read more about ShawU 2022 Day of Giving.

Please join me in making your gift today. Celebrate and show your support for Shaw University, the first HBCU in North Carolina and among the oldest in the nation. Located in the heart of downtown Raleigh, Shaw has established itself as a pillar of the community and a leader in advancing higher education, racial and social justice, and human rights.

Behind every ShawU student’s success story is an army of people, just like you, who have supported our scholars along the way.

By giving, donors become partners in Shaw University’s dedication to providing a quality higher education that affords each student with access to the opportunities that will lead them to a brighter future. Our joint anticipated outcomes will support getting Shaw University students to and through college, with less post-graduation debt, experiential learning, and job creation for a more inclusive and diversified workforce.

I AM MAKING MY GIFT TODAY AND INVITE YOU TO JOIN ME!

Every gift matters, and all gifts made between now and May 25th count toward the ShawU Day of Giving and will be included on the Day of Giving leaderboard.

Please visit dayofgiving.shawu.edu to make your gift today!

Sincerely,

George York,
President and CEO, York Properties, Inc.
