As we prepare for Homecoming Week, it is both exciting and humbling to think about all of the growth that has taken place here. We have seen generations come and go, but what has stayed constant are the values that guide us—Pro Christo Humanitate—which connect us as a community and supports our individual journeys.

Join us on Sunday, October 16th at 11am at First Baptist Church of Raleigh (101 S. Wilmington Street) as we kick off Shaw University’s Homecoming Week with a worship service led by President Dillard. This service will also memorialize Alumnus Randolph Bazemore as we reconnect, rekindle, and renew old friendships and relationships.

On Sunday October 23rd at 12 pm at the Thomas J. Boyd Chapel, as Shaw University Homecoming Week concludes with a worship service. Alumnus, Dr. Cleopatrick Lacy, ’72 will deliver the keynote address. We ask that you join us in sending up a mighty prayer for God’s protection and guidance for all of us as we come together to celebrate Shaw University Homecoming.
