Shaw University Receives Duke Energy Racial Justice Award

In November 2021, Shaw University received a $25,000 Social Justice and Racial Equity grant awarded from the Duke Energy Foundation to the Shaw University Center for Racial and Social Justice for general operations.

Dr. Erin H. Moore, executive director for the Center for Racial and Social Justice at Shaw University, said: “The Center for Racial and Social Justice at Shaw University is honored to have been chosen as one of the Social Justice and Racial Equity grantees of the Duke Energy Foundation.
