Everyone deserves good health, but the cost of healthcare leaves some people in danger of serious illness and premature death. We have found exciting ways to make good health a reality for all. Many options are low cost, and most cost nothing but time and a decision. African Americans no longer need to suffer from lifestyle diseases such as cancer, diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, and stroke. Wellness 4 All is a health equity program supported by the CEO Roundtable on Cancer and the Shaw University Center for Racial & Social Justice.
“Shaw University is proud to partner with the CEO Roundtable on Cancer and help spearhead a national movement to improve positive health outcomes in our communities. The collaborative work between our two organizations can serve as a model to build a national framework that educates minority communities, in particular, about cancer prevention, early detection, and increasing access to clinical trials and treatment facilities.”
